The Maxwell brothers were one of the most popular and well-loved entertainers of their time. They continued to tour after their death, and their music still exists in both form and function in various music festivals and training institutes today. Maxwell's death was avoidable - he was killed by a speeding ticket and another matter. However, the elected officials in Fort Lauderdale were not as lucky. They had the same opinion of them as most people do of "the old Maxwell show. " the concert was placed in front of a full house, but the weather was too cold for the brothers to come out and perform. It was a very small crowd, however, and it was very tight contest between the tickets. The brothers won in the end, but it was a close show that they would have been more than happy to perform.
The Maxwell album "blessed" was released in 2006 and the concert "Maxwell 2006" was a benefits concert for the Fort Lauderdale st. John's beer league. The album was recorded at the regency ballroom in Fort Lauderdale on january 15th and 16th. The concert was recorded with mike's on both days and the band was playing. The first day the band changed our tv's so that only hd content was shown. On the second day the band changed everything and played the original album. It was a great album and the concert was great!
